Car Rental Terms

Below you will find all the information regarding car rental from Vision Car Rental in Glyfada.

Vehicle Rental Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern the rental of vehicles by Vision Car Rental, hereinafter referred to as the “Lessor”. The renter unconditionally accepts these terms upon signing the agreement and/or receiving the vehicle.

1. Rental Requirements

  • Minimum age of renter and driver: 23 years old.
  • Valid driving licence held for at least 24 months.
  • National ID card or passport.
  • Valid credit or debit card in the renter’s name.

2. Vehicle Pick-up & Return

  • The vehicle is delivered in excellent mechanical condition and clean.
  • Cleaning charge of €20 in case of excessive dirtiness.
  • Charge of €140 in case biological cleaning is required.
  • The need for cleaning is determined solely by the Lessor.
  • Return at the same location, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Delay of more than 60 minutes is charged as an extra day.
  • A different return location may incur an additional charge.

3. Rental Duration

  • Minimum duration: 1 day.
  • Extension requires the Lessor’s approval.

4. Charges & Payments

  • Prices include VAT and basic insurance.
  • The vehicle is delivered full and must be returned full.
  • Additional charges may apply (additional driver, child seat, GPS, etc.).

5. Insurance Coverage

5.1 Third-Party Liability Insurance

Mandatory third-party liability insurance is included according to Greek legislation.

  • Bodily injury or death of third parties.
  • Material damage to third-party property.

Damage to the rented vehicle and injuries to the driver are not covered.

5.2 Full Insurance with Excess

Optional Full Insurance Coverage with an excess of €1,000.

  • Maximum renter liability: €1,000.
  • Any amount beyond this is covered by the insurer.

Not covered:

  • Damage caused by negligence or violation of traffic laws.
  • Damage to tyres, rims, underbody, and interior.
  • Driving under the influence of alcohol or substances.

6. Damage & Accidents

  • Immediate notification to the Lessor and authorities.
  • Damage not covered by insurance is borne by the renter.
  • Driving under the influence of alcohol/substances is prohibited.

7. Use of the Vehicle

  • Permitted only on legal roads.
  • Racing, sub-renting, and dangerous cargo are prohibited.
  • Taking the vehicle outside Greece without written permission is prohibited.

8. Fines & Violations

  • All fines are borne by the renter.
  • An administrative fee may be charged.

9. Booking Cancellation

  • Free cancellation up to 48 hours in advance.
  • Late cancellation or no-show may be charged in full.

10. Personal Data

  • Processing is carried out in accordance with GDPR.
  • Used exclusively for rental purposes.

11. Termination of Agreement

The Lessor may terminate the agreement in case of breach of terms.

12. Applicable Law & Jurisdiction

  • Greek Law applies.
  • The courts of the company’s registered seat shall have jurisdiction.
